Foramen intervertébral / Intervertebral foramen

En haut, vue latérale gauche centrée sur le foramen L4-5 et la racine L4. La photo de droite est une vue plus rapprochée. A gauche sont visibles le ligament longitudinal antérieur, les corps vertébraux et les disques. Au centre, la racine (r) et la branche postérieure qui passe en dedans du ligament intertransversaire, tendu d'une transverse (t) à l'autre (flèche blanche). Le nerf (r. lat), chemine au contact du multifidus.

In the middle, the root (r) and the dorsal ramus which passes medial to the inter transverse ligament (white arrow), from a transverse process (t) to another. The nerve (r. lat) runs in contact with the multifidus.

Même dissection que ci-dessus après avoir ôté le ligament inter transversaire. Le rameau médial de la branche postérieure apparait. Il tourne autour de l'articulation zygapophysaire et suit la lame et le processus épineux pour se terminer au sommet de ce dernier. r : racine L4.

Same dissection as above after having removed the intertransverse ligament. The medial branch of the dorsal ramus shows up. It turns around the zygapophyseal joint and follows the lamina and the spinous process, to end up at the tip of this latter. r : L4 root.
