Côté droit. Les nerfs descendent en général assez bas, bien en dessous d'une ligne horizontale (pointillés) menée par l'EIPS.

Right side. The nerves have generally a long course downward, much lower than an horizontal line (dotted line) crossing the PSIS.

Côté gauche. Ici, la branche postérieure de L1 descend largement plus bas que le grand trochanter. Ligne pointillée : crête iliaque.

Left side. Here, the dorsal ramus of L1 running down as far as the greater trochanter. Dotted line: iliac crest.
